Interprofessional Volleyball Tournament for Health Professionals
To all Counselling Psychology Students;
On Sunday, November 22nd 2009 from 12-4pm students from various health disciplines will come together in a friendly volleyball tournament to be held at Beach Blast - an indoor beach volleyball facility in Toronto. Last year a very strong Chiropractic team beat a well matched team of Naturopathic students in the competitive final! The tournament will have both a competitive and recreation stream (games are played 6 on 6). Stream is determined the day of according to the outcome in the first few rounds of play.
Strong volleyball skills are fantastic but not necessary to have a great day! There is an entry fee of $20 per person, or $200 for a team of up to 12ppl. This will include the day of volleyball, a catered lunch, water, grab bags and the chance to win one of many great prizes.
This also includes your contribution to the Arthritis Society. Attached to the email is a poster for the tournament and a sign up sheet. Get your teams of 6-12 players together (co-rec so at least 2 girls) and email any of the contacts listed or ipecouncil@cmcc.ca for more information. Also this tournament is open to ALL health professional tournament - so if you have friends in Physio, med, nursing etc. feel free to pass the invite along! Nearly 4.5 million Canadians live with arthritis, 1.8 million in Ontario alone. Let's help by raising some money for The Arthritis Society while having a great day
